Thanks to the enormous investments of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, Erciyes has become a Winter Sports and Tourism Center on a global scale with its state-of-the-art facilities, international standards for runways and modern social and accommodation facilities that have been in service since 2012. Having hosted millions of guests since the day we started to provide services, the mountain started to host national and international giant sports organizations, as well. Erciyes, Turkey's best ski resort, hosted Turkey's first Snowboard European Cup in 2015 and welcomed Europe's top athletes. As a result of the organizational success achieved here in the year of 2016, we have hosted the Snowboard World Cup, which is one of the most important activities of winter sports, for the first time in the history of our country. This achievement, which has been appreciated by the international sports public and sporting authorities, has brought both our country and Erciyes the hosting of Second World Cup in 2017. In addition, we have also hosted a European Snow Volleyball Cup, European Kite Championship, Zirve Erciyes competitions, Jump & Freeze activities and numerous music and sports organizations in Erciyes resulting in an awareness process that started both at home and abroad. Erciyes is now rapidly becoming a brand name in Europe and America and it will become known globally as a global brand in the coming years with global scale activities we will do from now on.
Furthermore, as Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş., we have always had our vision from the very beginning to become a socio-cultural and sports center with a sub-structure that will contribute to our city and country for four seasons. For this purpose, we have created and mapped out a professional trekking route, bicycle and ATV tracks and forwarded to public service in Turkey. We are also organizing the Erciyes Summit Climbing as the first in our country with professional mountain guides. For our people, we provide an environment where our guests can get rid of the overwhelming heat and spend a cool and enjoyable time in our 54,000 square meter tent camping area, which was set up at 2.200 meters altitude. Through Turkey's first Downhill Trails, Erciyes again offers excellent opportunities for professional and amateur cycling enthusiasts from all over the world to participate in the downhill bike adventure that has swept the world in recent years. Therefore, we strongly feel that we are getting closer to these targets at each passing year.
