Bayramhacı, the hidden paradise of Kocasinan, to become a rising star of tourism

Kocasinan Mayor Ahmet Çolakbayrakdar, together with Kayseri Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Bülent Saklav, conducted an on-site visit to the Bayramhacı region, which is described as the hidden paradise of Kocasinan, to evaluate its full tourism potential.

Mayor Çolakbayrakdar stated that they are working to promote Bayramhacı, which attracts attention with its unique beauty featuring a lake on one side and fairy chimneys on the other, and to bring its natural charm into the spotlight of both national and local tourism.

During their visit to Bayramhacı Neighborhood, Mayor Çolakbayrakdar and Director Saklav were warmly welcomed by local residents. Engaging in conversations with them, Mayor Çolakbayrakdar emphasized their commitment to preserving the captivating harmony of nature and history in Bayramhacı, while turning it into a valuable asset for the tourism sector in Kayseri and across the country.

Highlighting their goal of increasing Kayseri s tourism potential and making Kocasinan an attractive destination for both domestic and international tourists, Mayor Çolakbayrakdar said:

“According to the feasibility report we conducted regarding Bayramhacı, the benefits of tourism-focused investments and transformations in the region are clearly evident. We have now completed our on-site inspections. Bayramhacı is home to a unique geothermal source. With its thermal richness, fairy chimneys, and lake view, the neighborhood is already drawing interest from tourists. We are working to make the most of this geothermal resource, whether through spas or alternative tourism projects, to contribute to our city s economy. We are also working on integrating Bayramhacı with other locations that host thermal resources. On the other side of the reservoir lie Nevşehir’s renowned districts of Göreme, Avanos, and Ürgüp. Tourists visiting those areas occasionally come to Bayramhacı as well. We aim to create a tourism hub that connects Bayramhacı with Erciyes and Cappadocia. We are striving to uncover the hidden beauties of Kocasinan, a district that houses many natural wonders and cultural riches. Our goal is to transform these assets into a gain for both our city and our country. Through our projects, we will increase Kayseri s tourism potential and make Kocasinan a center of attraction for both domestic and international visitors.”
Emphasizing that every corner of the ancient city of Kayseri stands out with its unique characteristics and values, Mayor Çolakbayrakdar concluded his remarks by saying:

“With our projects, we will boost Kayseri’s tourism potential and turn Kocasinan into a top destination for local and foreign tourists.”
