British Tourists Impressed by Erciyes Ski Resort

The presentation covered the modern facilities of Erciyes, ski slopes with different difficulty levels, natural beauties, and international-standard infrastructure in detail.

Following the presentation, Hamdi Elcuman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş., Zafer Akşehirlioğlu, General Manager, and Şükrü Dursun, Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism, met with British tourism representatives for a mutual exchange of ideas.

During the discussions, topics such as creating special tour packages for the UK market and making the best use of the region s winter tourism potential were addressed.

The British tourism professionals expressed great satisfaction with the high quality of the facilities and the variety of the slopes after personally experiencing the Erciyes Ski Resort. They also noted that Erciyes offers a unique experience by combining not only a ski resort but also Kayseri’s historical and cultural richness.

In the meeting, the proximity to Cappadocia, historical heritage, and traditional cuisine of Kayseri were highlighted, emphasizing that it is a special destination combining ski tourism with cultural exploration.

Following this visit, British travel agencies stated that they would prepare special ski packages and programs in various concepts for Erciyes.
