Erciyes, the Summit of Kayseri, Meets the Turkic World
Known as the jewel of Anatolia, Kayseri’s flagship tourism destination, Erciyes Ski Resort, has been invited to join the Union of Turkic Ski Resorts, established under the auspices of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
With a total ski track length of 112 kilometers, 41 different ski runs, and 19 mechanical facilities, Erciyes Ski Resort is one of Turkey’s largest ski resorts and the only one operated by a local municipality. By receiving an invitation to join the Union of Turkic Ski Resorts, it has marked yet another achievement.
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç’s efforts to elevate the city’s tourism potential through well-targeted investments are bearing fruit, steadily positioning Kayseri at the top of the tourism sector.
In this context, just like every year, Erciyes Ski Resort attracted a large number of tourists from both domestic and international destinations during the 2024-2025 winter season, welcoming approximately 3 million ski enthusiasts. The resort has now been invited to become a member of the Union of Turkic Ski Resorts under the auspices of the Organization of Turkic States.
Supported by the Presidency and with Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan as member countries, the OTS Union of Turkic Ski Resorts will include Erciyes Ski Resort—recognized as one of the world’s premier ski destinations—as a member. Continuing to expand its global presence, Kayseri Erciyes Inc., operated by the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, will attend the Union of Turkic Ski Resorts Summit to be held at the Shahdag Ski Resort in Azerbaijan between July 11-14, 2025, where it will receive its membership certificate and promote Kayseri and Erciyes at the summit.
