European Journalists Impressed by Erciyes Ski Resort
Journalists from Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands were informed about the Erciyes Ski Resort and the region s health and winter tourism opportunities by the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency.
A presentation was given to the journalists from Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands about Kayseri’s unique natural beauties and the Erciyes Ski Resort. The event, organized by the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency, aimed to promote Kayseri s potential in both winter and health tourism.
Additionally, the information provided by the Anatolian Health Tourism Association highlighted the health tourism opportunities in the region, showcasing that Kayseri is not only famous for its nature and culture tourism but also for health tourism. With its thermal hotels, hot springs, and health tourism infrastructure, Kayseri attracts both local and international tourists.
Known as an open-air museum, Kayseri offers visitors traces of the past with its historical landmarks and museums, and in addition to Erciyes, the city’s rich historical heritage was also promoted to the guests.
The event aimed to contribute to the international recognition of Kayseri’s tourism potential.
The Erciyes Ski Resort is managed by Erciyes A.Ş., which operates under the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality. With 19 mechanical facilities, 41 slopes, and a 112-kilometer-long slope area, the resort continues to develop as one of the region’s most important ski centers. This year, Erciyes offers wide opportunities for ski enthusiasts and sports lovers, and it is rapidly progressing towards becoming a globally recognized center.
