Praise for “Erciyes” from Guests from All Around the World
Managed by Erciyes Inc., which operates under Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and holds the distinction of being Türkiye’s first destination management company, Erciyes Ski Center provides services with 19 mechanical facilities, 41 ski slopes, and a total track length of 112 kilometers. Operated by Erciyes Inc., Türkiye’s first professional mountain management company, the center offers a world-class skiing experience with cable car lines reaching an altitude of 3,400 meters.
Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç conducted inspections at Erciyes Ski Center, which is among the world’s leading ski resorts, and met with ski lovers visiting from both within Türkiye and abroad. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, Mayor Büyükkılıç listened to the guests’ requests and suggestions.
In addition to tourists coming from various European countries, especially Belgium, Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic, visitors from Turkish cities such as Bursa, Kırşehir, Konya, Ankara, Mersin, Adana, and Kars also showed great interest in Erciyes. A visitor from Belgium highlighted the center’s international appeal by saying, “As soon as we got off the plane, we came straight to Erciyes.”
“You Have a Very Beautiful Facility, It’s Perfect”
Mayor Büyükkılıç also visited hotels in Erciyes and asked citizens about their satisfaction. One visitor stated, “You have a very beautiful facility, it’s perfect. There is probably nothing like it in Türkiye or the world. The roads being open made us very happy,” while another guest said, “The social facilities are also very nice, and we expect these services to continue.”
During the visit, Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç was accompanied by Develi Mayor Adem Şengül, Chairman of the Board of Erciyes Inc. Zafer Akşehirlioğlu, and KASKİ General Manager Yavuz Çağan.
Meanwhile, the fact that snow depth on the slopes at Erciyes—one of Türkiye’s most important ski centers—has reached 220 centimeters indicates that the season is continuing efficiently. With ongoing promotional efforts, Erciyes aims to remain a favorite destination for visitors from both Türkiye and around the world in the 2026 season as well.
